LOGISTECH İzmir 2026: Exhibition Stand Design & Build Guide for International Exhibitors

For logistics companies, a trade fair stand is rarely just a place to display a brand.

It often needs to communicate an entire operational network.

Transport routes, warehousing capabilities, vehicle fleets, ports, digital platforms, intermodal solutions, automation systems and supply-chain services may all need to be presented within one exhibition environment.

LOGISTECH İzmir 2026 will take place from 7–9 October 2026 at Fuar İzmir, bringing together companies involved in logistics, transportation, warehousing and related technologies. The 2026 edition will be the fifth International Logistics, Warehousing and Technologies Expo.

For international exhibitors coming to İzmir, the challenge is therefore not simply to create an attractive booth.

The stand must help visitors understand:

Where do you operate?
What part of the supply chain do you solve?
What makes your logistics network, technology or service different?

This guide covers the key considerations when planning a custom exhibition stand for LOGISTECH İzmir 2026.

Why LOGISTECH İzmir Matters

LOGISTECH positions İzmir as an increasingly important logistics meeting point because of the city's connection between sea, road, rail and air transportation, together with its ports, free zones, industrial areas and international trade network.

The event covers a broad logistics ecosystem.

Official visitor-registration categories include:

  • freight transportation and logistics services;

  • motor vehicles and semi-trailers;

  • vans and distribution vehicles;

  • heavy-duty vehicles;

  • cargo transport equipment;

  • IT and telematics;

  • e-commerce;

  • telecommunications;

  • intralogistics;

  • material-flow systems;

  • storage equipment;

  • packaging;

  • weighing;

  • measuring;

  • labelling technologies.

That means exhibitors may range from large international freight operators to warehouse-automation suppliers and transportation-technology companies.

Your exhibition architecture should reflect where your company sits within that ecosystem.

Make Your Logistics Network Visible

One of the biggest challenges for logistics companies is that the actual service is often invisible.

You cannot physically place an international freight network inside a stand.

The architecture therefore needs to turn your network into something visitors can immediately understand.

Useful methods include:

  • illuminated route maps;

  • interactive logistics maps;

  • large LED screens;

  • animated transport corridors;

  • port-to-port visualisations;

  • railway-network graphics;

  • destination walls;

  • country coverage displays;

  • digital dashboards.

If your company operates across several countries, the geographical scale of the business should become a visual part of the stand.

A visitor walking past should be able to understand your reach before speaking with your team.

Design Around Your Actual Logistics Offer

Not every logistics exhibitor needs the same kind of stand.

A freight-forwarding company may need:

  • strong international network communication;

  • meeting areas;

  • digital route maps;

  • hospitality;

  • corporate presentation.

A rail-freight operator may need:

  • railway-network graphics;

  • intermodal storytelling;

  • route visualisation;

  • train imagery;

  • infrastructure information.

A warehouse-technology company may need:

  • equipment displays;

  • product demonstrations;

  • automation graphics;

  • technical presentation areas.

A commercial-vehicle company may need:

  • vehicle display space;

  • wide access routes;

  • product specifications;

  • demonstration areas.

The layout should begin with what the exhibitor actually needs to communicate rather than applying the same booth formula to every logistics company.

Use Large-Scale Graphics Carefully

Logistics companies often have strong visual assets:

  • trucks;

  • trains;

  • ships;

  • aircraft;

  • ports;

  • warehouses;

  • containers;

  • global maps.

These can create immediate sector recognition.

However, a stand can quickly become visually overloaded if every surface carries a different transport image.

A stronger approach is usually to select one dominant story and support it with secondary content.

For example:

Main message: Europe–Asia rail connectivity.

Then secondary graphics can communicate terminals, countries, services and cargo capabilities.

This gives the booth a visual hierarchy rather than turning it into a catalogue.

Make Routes and Connections Part of the Architecture

For international transport businesses, the idea of connection can become an architectural concept.

Lighting lines can represent routes.

Graphic bands can move through the booth.

Ceiling elements can connect different zones.

Digital displays can show networks in motion.

This allows the architecture itself to reinforce the idea of movement and logistics.

Your existing logistics portfolio is particularly useful here because several Maher Design projects already demonstrate how transport and international connectivity can become part of an exhibition identity. Your portfolio includes dedicated logistics projects for PTC Holding, Middle Corridor and METRANS at Logitrans, as well as the DEİK Turkish National Pavilion at Transport Logistic Munich.

Plan Meeting Capacity Properly

Logistics exhibitions are heavily relationship-driven.

Visitors may be discussing:

  • freight contracts;

  • distribution partnerships;

  • route development;

  • warehousing;

  • cross-border operations;

  • customs;

  • technology integration;

  • supply-chain partnerships;

  • investment.

This means meeting capacity can become one of the most important parts of the stand.

Depending on booth size, consider combining:

  • open meeting tables;

  • semi-private seating;

  • enclosed meeting rooms;

  • hospitality;

  • VIP areas;

  • reception.

If your team expects many scheduled meetings, the stand should not sacrifice commercial functionality simply to create more visual impact.

Integrate Technology Into the Stand

LOGISTECH specifically emphasizes areas such as digital transportation solutions, automation and sustainable logistics.

Technology should therefore be integrated naturally into the exhibition environment.

Useful applications include:

  • interactive screens;

  • route planners;

  • logistics dashboards;

  • warehouse-management interfaces;

  • fleet-tracking systems;

  • digital service demonstrations;

  • animated supply-chain flows;

  • customer case studies.

Avoid adding screens simply because there is empty wall space.

Each digital element should have a clear communication purpose.

Displaying Vehicles or Equipment

Some LOGISTECH exhibitors may bring:

  • semi-trailers;

  • commercial vehicles;

  • cargo-handling equipment;

  • warehouse systems;

  • transport equipment.

These require a different planning approach.

Before the booth is designed, provide:

  • exact product dimensions;

  • weight;

  • delivery method;

  • turning/access requirements;

  • clearance around the product;

  • power requirements;

  • demonstration requirements.

The stand architecture should then frame the product rather than obstruct it.

For vehicle displays in particular, the strongest aisle view should normally be considered during the first layout stage.

What Should You Send Your Stand Builder?

Before starting the LOGISTECH stand design, prepare:

  • stand dimensions;

  • hall and booth number;

  • number of open sides;

  • official floor plan;

  • company brand guidelines;

  • key logistics services;

  • markets and routes;

  • vehicle/equipment dimensions;

  • required digital displays;

  • meeting capacity;

  • hospitality requirements;

  • private meeting requirements;

  • storage requirements;

  • graphics and map content;

  • previous exhibition photographs;

  • preferred visual references;

  • approximate budget.

If you intend to display a vehicle or large piece of equipment, provide those specifications immediately.

Why Work With a Local Stand Builder in Türkiye?

For an international exhibitor, the stand is only one part of the LOGISTECH project.

Your team may also be coordinating:

  • staff travel;

  • product transport;

  • customer appointments;

  • marketing;

  • freight;

  • hotel arrangements;

  • demonstrations;

  • technical documentation.

Working with a Türkiye-based exhibition partner means the booth can be designed and produced locally while those other preparations continue.

Maher Design can manage:

  • stand concept;

  • technical development;

  • local production;

  • branding and graphics;

  • LED and AV integration;

  • furniture;

  • transportation to İzmir;

  • installation;

  • on-site support;

  • dismantling.

For exhibitors traveling from abroad, having one local project team responsible for the complete physical delivery can significantly simplify the process.

When Should You Start Planning?

LOGISTECH is currently scheduled for 7–9 October 2026, so international exhibitors should already be developing their stand concepts and technical requirements.

A practical project schedule would be:

August — Brief & Concept

Confirm the contractor, booth dimensions, services/products, desired meeting capacity, AV requirements and approximate budget.

Late August — Design Development

Finalize the stand architecture, route/network communication, graphics, screens, vehicle or equipment positioning and hospitality areas.

September — Technical Development & Production

Complete technical drawings, fabrication, graphics, furniture and AV preparation.

Late September / Early October — Logistics

Coordinate transportation to İzmir, stand installation, equipment delivery and final content.

Build-Up — Installation & Handover

Complete construction, test screens and technology, position equipment, adjust lighting and prepare the stand for opening.

This is a Maher Design project-planning recommendation, not an official LOGISTECH deadline schedule. Exhibitors should always follow the latest technical manual and organizer instructions.

About Fuar İzmir

LOGISTECH 2026 will be held at Fuar İzmir in Gaziemir, İzmir. The official event information lists the venue at Zafer Mahallesi, 840 Sokak, Fuar Alanı No:2, Gaziemir.

Because the exhibition includes transportation equipment, storage technologies and potentially large physical displays, exhibitors should confirm venue requirements concerning:

  • vehicle access;

  • loading;

  • electricity;

  • suspended structures;

  • floor loading;

  • build height;

  • fire regulations;

  • installation;

  • dismantling.

Always work from the current organizer technical documentation rather than assumptions from another fair.

What Makes a Strong LOGISTECH Stand?

For this exhibition, I would prioritize six elements.

1. Immediate Sector Recognition

Visitors should know whether you are a freight operator, technology provider, warehouse company, transport-equipment manufacturer or another logistics specialist immediately.

2. Clear Network Communication

Make your routes, markets and geographic coverage easy to understand.

3. Strong Meeting Capability

The booth should support serious B2B discussions throughout the show.

4. Integrated Technology

Digital systems should demonstrate the service rather than simply decorate the walls.

5. Product or Vehicle Visibility

If physical equipment is being displayed, design the architecture around it.

6. Strong Brand Presence

LOGISTECH will place many logistics companies next to each other. Distinctive architecture can help prevent similar service providers from visually blending together.
